Youth Fitness plays a fundamental role in the health of boys and girls of all ages and benefits the kids both physically and mentally. Pinnacle offers programs for kids and teens under the supervision of highly trained instructors. Our goal is to help kids have fun while improving their level of fitness.

To take full advantage of our programming, register your child ahead of time. If the class participant is not a member at Pinnacle, they may register as a guest by clicking the “become a guest” button. Once the child is registered, use their online username and password to access a list of programs and register them for programs online at any time, anywhere.

Class Offerings


TRX AND RIP TRAINING
Ages 11-16

TRX Suspension Training uses body weight and bands to challenge participants from beginner to advanced. The class is specifically designed for the youth and led by certified Personal Trainer Anthony Kortekaas.

JR. RACQUETBALL INSTRUCTION
Ages 7-17

Learn to play racquetball (or sharpen your skills) in a fun, supportive atmosphere. Participants will develop eye/hand coordination, gross motor movements and increase their flexibility while having fun and burning energy. Rackets and balls will be provided by the club, players are required to supply and wear their own eye guards. Participants should wear sneakers and comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle to class. Children must be at least 7 years old to participate.


KIDS YOGA
Ages 4-12

You’ll see how Kids benefit from the practice of yoga and how it improves their overall well-being. Yoga will:

  • It Enhances Physical Flexibility

  • It Refines Balance and Coordination

  • It Develops Focus and Concentration

  • It Boosts Self-Esteem and Confidence

  • It Strengthens the Mind-Body Connection

Children who have practiced yoga tell teachers and parents that they are able to concentrate better during the day, focus better on their activities, and pay attention to their tasks — all the finest endorsements.

Yoga helps tweens and teens build the groundwork to live a healthy lifestyle in a safe and non-competitive space. It is a perfect compliment to their busy academic and extracurricular schedule, connecting them with others and themselves in a fun and nurturing environment, and leaving them refreshed and ready for the outside world. Our tween and teen yoga class is held at the same time as an adults class so that parents and caregivers can take the class too!


YOUTH F.I.T.
Ages 8-12

Youth F.I.T. (FullBody Interval Training) classes may include strength, mobility, stretch, and core exercises. F.I.T. classes will challenge kids to climb, jump, push, swing, and move in a playful like workout that will help them build strength and become more agile for fun, sports, and general fitness. Daily activities will include a wide range of games specific to their age group. Classes will be held both inside and out depending on the weather.


KIDS ZUMBA
Ages 4-12

Zumba classes are high-energy fitness parties for children ages 4-12. Packed with specially choreographed routines and the latest music, like hip-hop, reggaeton, and cumbia, Zumbatomic classes increase focus and self-confidence, boost metabolism and improve coordination. Zumba classes make getting fit a fun experience for your daughter or son!


TEEN F.I.T.
Ages 13-19

Teen F.I.T. (FullBody Interval Training)

Full Body Interval Training; sessions are focused on overall fitness and strength training. Each class is specific to the needs of teens.


TEEN YOGA
Ages 12-19

Teen Yoga helps tweens and teens build the groundwork to live a healthy lifestyle in a safe and non-competitive space. It is a perfect compliment to their busy academic and extracurricular schedule, connecting them with others and themselves in a fun and nurturing environment, and leaving them refreshed and ready for the outside world.

Wear comfortable clothing and bring a mat and a water bottle. Mats available if needed.


COURT SPORTS
Ages 10-16

The kids play a variety of activities: Racquetball, Pickleball, Wallyball, Dodgeball, Wall Ball and 4-Square, just to name a few. Court Sports is a great opportunity for children to be introduced to the sport of racquetball.
